I’m sitting outside typing this while listening to the sound of wind blowing through the trees and birds tweeting. I’m somewhere in the middle of Cornwall in a lovely place randomly discovered by my wife and me. I’m not going to tell you where it is because I think I might just come back a few times and enjoy the absolute peace and quiet there is here – peace and quiet with free WiFi. What more do I really want? Well, maybe I should tell you so it continues to be here – Ruthern Valley Holidays.The people who run this place are lovely and friendly. It’s nice and small too so nothing like a holiday camp-type place.
We went for a drive to Padstow today. It’s a lovely little harbour town with loads of tiny streets to walk around. Bought our dinner there – cornish pasties of course. Discovered an odd way to do parking charges as well. It’s 70p for 1 hour or £2.20 for two hours. Funnily enough I managed to pay £1.40 for two hours…
Not going to type any more as I’ve got a large bottle of farmhouse Scrumpy to drink.
